Coteccons Conquers The Landmark 81 – One of Top Ten Tallest Skyscrapers in the World

Having executed series of mega-projects, Coteccons makes another resonant impression when winning The Landmark 81 project, the tallest building in Vietnam and one of Top ten Tallest Skyscrapers in the World. In spite of non-competitive offer, Coteccons convincingly overcame other international competitors. Coteccons will be the main contractor of the project with technical support of experts from Obayashi Japan. According to official sources, Coteccons is the sole local bidder who was invited to tender the project.
Conquering New Height

The Landmark 81, which is inspired from the image of traditional bamboo bunch – symbol of solidarity, prosperity and stability, has the height of 461m. The project breaks regional records not only in height but also in the heights of observation deck, restaurants and bars. The Skyscraper is also the most luxurious tower brain stormed by leading designers, consultants and contractor such as Atkin – architectural designer of several world-class works (Bahrain World Trade Center and King Abbulaziz airport in Arab Saudi, Lotus Hotel in Shanghai); Arup – structural designer of high-profiled projects (Opera Sydney in Sydney, Centre Pompidou in Paris) and Versace, Armani - interior decoration designers. The most prominent is the main contractor who is one of leading builders in Vietnam.
