With a height of 461.2 meters, the Landmark 81 overtakes the Petronas twin towers of Malaysia, becoming one of 10 highest towers in the world and the pride of Vietnam.
On March 9th, 2018, Coteccons officially topped out the Landmark 81 tower, located in Vinhomes Central Park - Ho Chi Minh City, 45 days ahead of schedule. The event is a milestone marking the completion of the project’s structural works and proving the capabilities and experience of Coteccons in particular and Vietnam's construction industry in general.
In order to achieve this important milestone, Coteccons engineers have worked hard to overcome many difficulties in the process of construction. In addition, the Landmark 81 tower uses the most difficult and complicated construction methods in comparison with other projects, especially the construction at the height of over 300m.
Right after the topping-out ceremony, the site management team of Coteccons at the Landmark 81 project continued to focus on the finishing works and installation of the 60.8m-long spire on the top, raising the total height of Landmark 81 tower to 461.2m and making it the highest tower in Vietnam and one of the top 10 highest towers in the world.
