COTECCONS – UNICONS TOGERTHER ACHIEVE A “HAT-TRICK” OF WINS AT THE VIETNAM CONSTRUCTION AWARDS 2025

On October 7, 2025, at the National Convention Center, Coteccons and Unicons were honored in three major categories at the Vietnam Construction Awards 2025, recognizing the companies’ outstanding contributions to Vietnam’s construction industry. 

The event was graced by the presence of numerous distinguished leaders and industry experts, including Dr. Dang Viet Dung – Chairman of the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations, Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Vu Ngoc Anh – Director of the Department of Enterprise Management under the Ministry of Construction; and Mr. Tong Van Nga – Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations. The event also featured the presence of top leading economists, including Dr. Nguyen Minh Phong – former Head of the Economic Research Division at the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Studies, and Dr. Can Van Luc – Member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council.  The event also brought together representatives from provincial Departments of Construction, government agencies, scientists, industry experts, and many enterprises operating in the construction sector. 

According to the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations, despite facing numerous challenges, Vietnam’s construction industry continues to affirm its position as a key economic sector, playing an essential role in the nation’s development. In this context, Coteccons and Unicons take pride in being among the country’s leading construction companies, contributing to iconic national projects while continuously evolving through the adoption of digital technologies, advanced engineering solutions, and the enhancement of green construction standards across the industry. 

At this year’s ceremony, Coteccons and Unicons were honored across three prestigious categories:

COTECCONS REDUCES MORE THAN 237,000 TONS OF CO₂E THANKS TO GREEN OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Coteccons pursues sustainable development with governance as its spearhead, ensuring alignment from leadership mindset to on-site operations. This approach enabled the company to cut more than 237,000 tons of CO₂e during fiscal year 2025 (July 2024 – June 2025). The company rolled out safety and welfare programs for workers, recording over 46.5 million safe working hours across 56 projects and providing more than 14,000 free health check-ups for laborers. Between 2022 and 2025, Coteccons also planted over 33,000 native trees to help restore upstream forests.
