COTECONS LEADERS SUMMIT 2024 – UNITED IN PURPOSE TO “MAKE IT HAPPEN”

From March 1st to March 3rd, 2024, the Coteccons Leaders’ Summit 2024 was held in Quang Nam. This annual training program is designed for senior management and key personnel of Coteccons and its subsidiaries, including Unicons, Covestcons, Sinh Nam Metal, and UG M&E. 

The Coteccons Leaders’ Summit is an annual event with the objective of training, developing skills and capabilities, and nurturing talent for Coteccons and its subsidiaries, and the construction industry. This year’s program marked the debut of the Strategic Advisory Council (SAC) and the Coteccons Leadership Center (CLC), a club dedicated to senior management and key personnel of Coteccons. 

 

In his opening remarks, Chairman of the Board Bolat Duisenov emphasized Coteccons’ mission to become a great company and an Industry Leader. Achieving this requires having a professional, systematic organization run by people who share the same vision. 

Key personnel from Coteccons and its subsidiaries, including Unicons, Covestcons, Sinh Nam Metal, and UG M&E, collaborated to exchange business plans, share leadership skills, and inspire one another. Throughout the event, the SAC guided CLC members in identifying their roles and responsibilities, developing strategic plans, conducting fair performance evaluations, and continuously enhancing leadership skills. 

With the spirit of “make it happen,” Coteccons’ personnel also came together to propose new business plans, engage in discussions, and critically analyze ideas to create breakthrough products and services, provide solutions to customers, and promote sustainable development – particularly in ESG practices – while building a corporate culture befitting an industry-leading company. 

 

In the future, CLC will continue to organize training activities, develop skills, and nurture talent for Coteccons and its subsidiaries, as well as for the construction industry.

Green Buildings – An Inevitable Trend Regarding sustainability, Coteccons’ representative shared that nearly all their FDI-led projects now conform to green building standards (LEED, Lotus, GreenMark, EDGE). Locally, 20–30% of Vietnamese clients are aiming for green certification. Mr. Nghĩa remarked that while green buildings used to cost 10–20% more, today the premium is minimal thanks to the widespread availability of green materials and solutions. Crucially, contractors and architects must recognize their responsibility to reduce emissions and contribute to sustainable development. Coteccons Reports Q4 and FY2025 Results: Backlog Exceeds VND 35 Trillion; Full-Year Contract Wins Up 32%, Strengthening 2026 Outlook

Ho Chi Minh City, July 30, 2025 – Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company (HOSE: CTD) today announced financial results for Q4 FY2025, posting robust growth across key indicators. The performance was driven by efficient execution and on-time delivery of major projects. In addition to surpassing the profit target, Coteccons closed the year with a backlog of VND 35,353 billion, laying a solid foundation for 2026 growth. Coteccons’ consolidated net revenue in Q4 FY2025 reached VND 8,351 billion, up 26.6% year-on-year. Full-year revenue was estimated at VND 24,867 billion, up 18.2% compared to FY2024. Gross profit in Q4 FY2025 was VND 216 billion, with full-year gross profit estimated at VND 778 billion, up 9.2% year-on-year. The Q4 gross margin stood at 2.58%, while the full-year margin was 3.13%. Net profit after tax in Q4 FY2025 was VND 196 billion—2.8 times higher than the same period last year. Full-year profit was estimated at VND 454 billion, representing a 46.6% increase. This strong performance reflects not only rising construction demand but also Coteccons’ ability to accelerate project delivery, boost execution volume, maintain strict cost control, and ensure timely completion. Coteccons was recently recognized as Vietnam’s largest construction contractor in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list. Notably, in 2025, Coteccons advanced 72 places compared to its first year of inclusion—underscoring the company’s remarkable business growth.
