Coteccons’ sustainable development journey has once again been recognized as the Company continues to be listed in the Top 20 companies with the Sustainable Development Index (VNSI) announced by HOSE. This is a testament to\u00a0Coteccons’ relentless efforts in integrating ESG into its business strategy to create long-term value for shareholders,\u00a0investors\u00a0and the community.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to HOSE’s assessment,\u00a0Coteccons\u00a0achieved an overall ESG score of\u00a0<\/span>76%<\/span><\/b>, with component scores superior to the industry average and the VN100.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The breakthrough of the Environmental score (E) to\u00a0<\/span>82%<\/span><\/b>, an impressive increase from 68% in 2024, is the clearest proof of the effectiveness of the sustainable development strategy through efforts in management,\u00a0compliance\u00a0and environmental protection, applying green construction standards,\u00a0optimizing\u00a0resources\u00a0and reducing emissions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This score was achieved thanks to a series of outstanding environmental initiatives implemented by\u00a0Coteccons\u00a0in recent times, including the application of greenhouse gas inventory software across 100%<\/strong> of project sites; the adoption of innovation and digitalization in project management to reduce emissions; and the promotion of circular economy practices through waste collection and recycling at construction\u00a0sites. The Company has also planted more than 33,000<\/strong> native trees in areas affected by climate change in Vietnam (Scope 3). Furthermore,\u00a0Coteccons\u00a0has pioneered the use of eco-friendly uniforms made from recycled plastic bottles and coffee grounds, helping foster a sustainable lifestyle across the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

That explains why the Social score (S) this year was recorded at <\/span>73%<\/span><\/b>, significantly higher than the industry average (60%).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Social programs are implemented with the goal of building a fair,\u00a0diverse\u00a0and inclusive working environment for employees. Outstanding programs such as \u201cX\u00e2y\u00a0T\u1ebft\u201d have been persistently implemented over the past 3 years with\u00a0<\/span>47,960<\/span><\/b>\u00a0gifts; similarly, a total of\u00a0<\/span>9,220<\/span><\/b>\u00a0Mid-Autumn gifts were given to children from 2022 to 2025\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>318<\/span><\/b>\u00a0scholarships supporting children of workers in difficult circumstances\u00a0were\u00a0awarded in 2025.
