Organized by Enterprise Asia, APEA recognizes corporate achievements and entrepreneurial excellence across Asia. Since its inception in 2007, the program has expanded its presence to 16 markets, honoring more than 2,000 businesses and business leaders.

Under the 2026 theme, “Forging Legacy: Celebrating Excellence, Inspiring Tomorrow,” APEA celebrates businesses and leaders who not only achieve success today but also create lasting value with the potential to shape the future. Among its award categories, the Inspirational Brand Award recognizes brands that inspire others and promote positive values through their products, services, and activities, fostering goodness, wellness, and sustainability.

Inspiring from Within: Bringing Corporate Culture to Life Through Action

At Coteccons, an inspirational brand begins with the people who make up the organization. Corporate culture goes beyond stated values; it is reflected in how individuals work, collaborate, take responsibility, and pursue shared goals. At Coteccons, the OWN IT culture emphasizes ownership and accountability, cultivated from the onboarding stage and reinforced throughout each employee's development journey.

With a workforce of more than 4,000 employees, Coteccons continues to prioritize professional development and foster a culture of continuous learning. In FY2026, the Company recorded 89,561 training hours, covering technical expertise, occupational safety, ESG, leadership, and soft skills. In addition, its E-learning platform offered 178 courses, enabling employees to proactively develop their capabilities in line with their individual needs and career aspirations. Through these initiatives, the OWN IT culture is not only introduced during onboarding but also continuously reinforced throughout each employee's learning and development journey.

Coteccons' commitment to building a people-centric workplace has also earned external recognition. In FY2026, Coteccons was honored at the HR Asia Awards for the second consecutive year, while also becoming the first large-scale construction company in Vietnam to achieve Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification. Notably, the GPTW survey, with participation from more than 1,800 employees, revealed several encouraging results: 90% understood the OWN IT culture; 89% expressed trust in leadership; 91% believed the Company puts people first; 86% felt their voices were heard; and 85% felt secure in their jobs. These findings provide valuable insights directly from employees, reflecting Coteccons' efforts to create a workplace where corporate values are not only communicated but also experienced in everyday work.

Creating Sustainable Value: From People to Communities

When corporate culture is nurtured from within, its positive values can extend to stakeholders and the wider community. At Coteccons, this spirit of care and solidarity is demonstrated through initiatives supporting workers, their families, and communities in need.

A notable example is “Hái Trăng Về Làng 2026”, which brought Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations to more than 1,400 children across various localities, including workers' children and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Now in its fifth year, the program was implemented in collaboration with local authorities, schools, childcare facilities, and partners, with activities tailored to the needs of each locality. Through recreational activities, gifts, and scholarships, the initiative not only brought joy to children during the Mid-Autumn Festival but also helped strengthen the connection between Coteccons and the communities where it operates.

This spirit of sharing is further demonstrated through “Xây nền ước mơ” (Building Foundations for Dreams), which awarded 615 scholarships to children of construction workers and employees working in environmental sanitation and urban drainage services.

As part of Coteccons Day 2026, the United Thanks initiative presented rice packages representing 10,000 messages of gratitude to workers who demonstrated good occupational safety practices. These programs reflect Coteccons' approach to recognizing workers' contributions not only by caring for their working conditions but also by supporting their families and creating development opportunities for the next generation. By extending support beyond its own workforce, Coteccons demonstrates a sense of responsibility toward the broader construction ecosystem and those who help sustain the daily functioning of urban life.

Alongside its community initiatives, Coteccons integrates environmental responsibility into the way it organizes and improves construction site operations. Through United Corner and the “Saving Mode” mindset, the Company encourages the adoption of the 3R principles – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, aiming to minimize waste, optimize resources, and improve construction methods.

Combining these practices with technology and digitalization helps embed sustainability into daily operations rather than limiting it to standalone campaigns. This approach also demonstrates how environmental responsibility can be translated into practical actions aligned with the specific characteristics of the construction industry.

From offices to construction sites, from caring for workers to implementing initiatives for communities and the environment, these efforts reflect Coteccons' consistent direction: brand value is defined not only by the structures it builds, but also by the positive impact it creates for people and society.

Continuing the Journey of Creating Lasting Value

For Coteccons, the Inspirational Brand Award is not only recognition of its efforts to date but also a source of motivation to further enhance the way the Company creates value in the future.

Guided by the spirit of “Building Futures,” Coteccons remains committed to not only constructing buildings and infrastructure but also contributing to a better future for workers, communities, and society.
