Coteccons Day 2026: From a Corporate Celebration to a Journey of Spreading Happiness to the Community
From an annual internal event, Coteccons Day 2026 has expanded its reach to subcontractor workers, workers' families, and the municipal forces that keep our cities running. Alongside this, an increasing number of partners have joined hands, extending the spirit of "United To Rise" well beyond what one company can do on its own.
Every August, Coteccons Day serves as an occasion for the Coteccons team to reflect on its journey of growth, connect with colleagues, and share collective pride in the landmarks built through united efforts. In previous years, the program was primarily an internal festival centered on appreciation and team engagement for employees and staff.
In 2026, that celebration marked a transformative step forward. Centered on the theme “Coteccons 20+2 | United To Rise,” Coteccons Day was brought to life through a series of key initiatives, including the United Day – Happy Coffee Truck, honoring workers who demonstrate exemplary occupational safety practices through United Thanks, awarding "Building Foundations for Dreams" scholarships, organizing the United Run online running challenge, and launching the United Corner site competition.
These initiatives not only engage corporate staff and engineers, but also reach front-line workers, their families, and the unsung forces quietly contributing to society. From an internal company program, Coteccons Day is evolving into a dedicated journey of community service.

Spreading Happiness to Job Sites
One of the most visible transformations took place directly across active job sites.
Across more than 100 project sites and corporate offices nationwide, the Happy Coffee Trucks—delivering coffee, refreshments, and gift sets—have become welcome rest stops for subcontractor workers.

Behind every project are thousands of front-line workers. Handing fresh cups of coffee directly to workers on site is how we show appreciation to our partners who work alongside with us to build these landmarks every single day.
This spirit of connection continued to resonate through the United Run, where Coteccons staff and engineers joined the nationwide walking campaign “Marching forward with Viet Nam 2026” organized by Nhân Dân Newspaper, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, uniting toward the goal of “10 Billion Green Steps – For a Sustainable Vietnam”. In addition, Coteccons employees achieved the goal of completing 40,075 km within 22 days to celebrate the 22nd anniversary—a distance equivalent to circling the globe—embodying our collective synergy and Coteccons' Go Global aspiration.
Meanwhile, United Corner embedded sustainability into job site environments by encouraging the 3R model (Reduce – Reuse – Recycle) paired with a "Saving Mode" spirit. While 3R focuses on efficient resource utilization, Saving Mode serves as an "operational compass" to optimize workflows, eliminate waste, improve construction methods, and enhance labor productivity through technology and digitalization. From office to field, this philosophy has successfully transformed slogans into practical, everyday actions.
Among the highlight activities of Coteccons Day 2026 was United Thanks, an initiative distributing rice packages that symbolized 10,000 heartfelt expressions of gratitude to site workers who upheld exemplary occupational safety practices.

On job sites, safety is always a mandatory rule. At Coteccons, however, safety is sustained by helping workers realize the true value of protecting themselves and their peers. The rice packagesgifted through United Thanks carry gratitude for workers who adhere to site safety, while serving as a gentle reminder that behind every safe working day is a family waiting peacefully for their return.
Through these considerate actions, the message “Safety is the Happiness” is embraced organically through workers' personal awareness and proactive mindset, rather than relying solely on top-down site regulations.
Serving Beyond the Boundaries of Job Sites
Coteccons Day extended its social impact through the "Building Foundations for Dreams" scholarship program. In its second consecutive year, the initiative awarded 600 scholarships: 350 were granted to children of workers across 84 Coteccons job sites nationwide, while the remaining 250 were presented to children of sanitation and urban drainage workers across Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang, recognizing the quiet dedication behind the daily operation of our cities.

That very foundation was forged through the uniting of project owners, subcontractors, and valued partners such as BOSS Energy Coffee, Revive Thể Thao, HSBC, Berocca, Standard Chartered, and many others. The collaboration of these stakeholders not only expanded the program's reach, but also demonstrated how diverse resources across the construction value chain can unite to cultivate a culture of gratitude and generate positive impacts for the community.
