COTECCONS RECRUITMENT BOOTH ATTRACTS STUDENTS AT HANOI CONSTRUCTION UNIVERSITY

With the goal of incubating the generation of Coteccons and introducing career opportunities to students in construction major throughout the country, the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering successfully organized graduation project defense ceremony for students of bilingual classes K62XE, XF, as well as Farewell & Student career orientation ceremony in Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi.

At the graduation project defense ceremony, Coteccons Group assigned an expert to join the XE Council to help evaluate products and find potential factors with good professional qualifications and foreign languages, and abilities to work flexibly in an international environment.

Participating in the Farewell Ceremony and Career Day at corporate booths, the Coteccons Human Resource Department organized a variety of booth activities to promote the company image such as: learning about Coteccons through Kahoot minigames, experiencing becoming a civil engineer when wearing a unique Coteccons suit.

With many practical and close-knit activities, students have the opportunity to learn more about Coteccons as well as get closer to the professional working environment, and at the same time seize career opportunities in the leading enterprise in the field of construction in Vietnam.

Coteccons Plants 11,777 Native Trees to Revive Headwater Forests in Quang Tri

On September 12, 2025, Coteccons, in collaboration with the local authorities of Tuyen Lam Commune, Quang Tri Province, organized the groundbreaking ceremony of the “Community Forest Plantation Project at Ban Ke,” initiating the planting of 11,777 native trees across 10.6 hectares to restore watershed protection forests. This marks the fourth year that Coteccons has partnered with Quang Tri Province to implement reforestation projects aimed at a Greener Vietnam, bringing the total number of native trees planted to 33,063. This achievement reflects Coteccons’ steadfast commitment to sustainable development. Coteccons Pledges to Safeguard Natural Forests in Quang Tri The reforestation initiative is part of Coteccons’ annual activities. It originates from the GreenUP Marathon launched in 2022. Built on the GreenUP foundation, Coteccons is committed to creating lasting values for communities and society, grounded in integrity, transparency, solidarity, and sharing. Carrying on this vision, Coteccons, together with Quang Tri’s local government, planted 11,777 trees of three rare native species – Erythrophleum fordii (Lim Xanh), Toona sinensis (Xoan Dao), and Michelia mediocris (Gioi Xanh) – at the Ban Ke community forest in Tuyen Lam Commune. Sustainable Construction – Coteccons Shares Its Vision at Archify Live 2025

On August 22, 2025, at the Archify Live conference organized by Hubexo with the theme “Eco-Friendly Architecture – Building a Sustainable Future”, Mr. Dương Trọng Nghĩa, Project Director of Coteccons, participated in a panel discussion alongside other industry experts and shared his perspectives on the rising trend of green buildings and the journey of Vietnamese contractors expanding into international markets. Balancing Quality and Cost – Coteccons’ Perspective Mr. Nghĩa noted that the tension between cost and quality in construction isn’t solely driven by clients—intense competition among contractors, especially in the real estate market downturn post-COVID-19, plays a major role. He emphasized: “Clients cannot push prices down if contractors themselves do not engage in fierce competition, creating a ‘red ocean’.” Coteccons opts instead to optimize through smart strategies—financial management, centralized procurement, and value engineering—to deliver real value rather than resorting to price undercutting. Green Buildings – An Inevitable Trend Regarding sustainability, Coteccons’ representative shared that nearly all their FDI-led projects now conform to green building standards (LEED, Lotus, GreenMark, EDGE). Locally, 20–30% of Vietnamese clients are aiming for green certification. Mr. Nghĩa remarked that while green buildings used to cost 10–20% more, today the premium is minimal thanks to the widespread availability of green materials and solutions. Crucially, contractors and architects must recognize their responsibility to reduce emissions and contribute to sustainable development.
