COTECCONS & UNICONS LAUNCH SEVERAL PROJECTS ON JANUARY 18, 2024

On the morning of January 18, 2024, Coteccons – Unicons, in coordination with the client, officially launched three major projects: the Viet – Italia Steel Plant in Hai Phong (invested by Viet – Italia Steel Corporation); the LA Home Urban Area project (Prodezi Long An Joint Stock Company is the client, and Huong Viet – HVH is the developer); and the “Van Lang Sky Lake Urban Residential Area” project in Phu Tho (invested by Tu Lap Construction Co., Ltd.).

At this project, Coteccons is the general contractor responsible for the foundations, reinforced concrete, steel structures, MEP, finishing, infrastructure, and many other construction components. The groundbreaking ceremony on January 18, 2024, was honored by the presence of Mr. Ohgita Takeshi – Executive Director of the parent company in Japan, Mr. Yonemura Yashiro – General Director of Viet – Italia Steel in Vietnam, Mr. Yasuda Shin – Deputy General Director of Viet – Italia Steel in Vietnam, Mr. Hayashi Takafumi – Deputy General Director of Viet – Italia Steel in Vietnam, as well as representatives from Coteccons, including Mr. Bolat Duisenov – Chairman of the Board, 

Mr. Nguyen Chi Thien – Managing Director, and other members of the Coteccons leadership team.

Representatives from Coteccons were extremely excited and proud to share the joy and significant meaning of the groundbreaking ceremony for this important project. This is not only a new construction project but also marks the beginning of cooperation between Coteccons and the investor – Viet – Italia Steel. 

LA Home Urban Area Project in Ben Luc, Long An Province 

 On the same morning of January 18, 2024, Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with investor Prodezi Long An Joint Stock Company and developer Huong Viet (HVH), held the contract signing and groundbreaking ceremony for the LA Home Urban Area project in Luong Hoa, Ben Luc, Long An Province. 

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Thien Quan – Director of Prodezi Long An Joint Stock Company hoped to deliver a quality project aimed at creating a sustainable and livable ecological urban area at the gateway to Ho Chi Minh City. 

 Mr. Vo Hoang Lam – CEO of Coteccons also shared his joy in collaborating on the LA Home Urban Area project. He believes that the ceremony marks a significant milestone in the project’s development. With experience, principles, and unity, Coteccons is committed to delivering a quality, safe, and timely project.

 “Van Lang Sky Lake Urban Residential Area” Project in Phu Tho Province 

 Also, on the morning of January 18, 2024, Unicons – a member of Coteccons, held the groundbreaking ceremony for the “Van Lang Sky Lake Urban Residential Area” project, with participation from the investor’s representatives, design consultants, supervision consultants, Unicons’ leadership, partner representatives, subcontractors, and all members of the Unicons project management team. 

After completing the basement work, the first construction package of the “Van Lang Sky Lake Urban Residential Area” project has been officially completed. With the expertise and efforts of each member of the project management team, Unicons continues to earn the trust of the investor – Tu Lap Construction Co., Ltd. for the next construction package. This marks an important step reaffirming Unicons’ reputation and quality. 

In this construction package, Unicons is responsible for building two residential blocks and one hotel, respectively 22, 26, and 32 stories high. The project requires advanced techniques and presents many challenges for the construction teams. However, with experience in constructing high-rise buildings with complex designs such as Diamond Crown Hai Phong, Ecopark Hung Yen, Wink Tuy Hoa, and with a team of leading experts, Unicons is confident that the project will be completed safely, on time, and with the quality committed to the investor.

Coteccons pursues sustainable development with governance as its spearhead, ensuring alignment from leadership mindset to on-site operations. This approach enabled the company to cut more than 237,000 tons of CO₂e during fiscal year 2025 (July 2024 – June 2025). Ho Chi Minh City, December 19, 2025 – After more than a year of construction, the “Thuy Van Coastal Road Beautification Project, Vung Tau City” – “the face” of Bai Sau Beach – with a total public investment of over VND 1,068 billion, has been officially inaugurated.
