PRESS RELEASE: COTECCONS KICKS OFF HYATT REGENCY HO TRAM RESORT & SPA

In the morning of April 24th 2021, Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort & Spa, which was developed by IFF Holdings and the General Contractor – Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company, officially started construction.

Ho Tram in recent years has a strong transformation, develops marine tourism and resorts following the national orientation planning. Foreseeing that trend, IFF Holdings, in association with Hyatt Group, officially launched the Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort & Spa by the end of 2020. Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort & Spa has a scale of 9,01ha including a 16-storey hotel block with a capacity of 280 rooms; the Forest Hill Retreat Spa area ​​up to 10,000 square meters which will be deployed with an international standard detox spa model and the Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Residences – the first Hyatt Regency villa in the South.

In the morning of April 24th 2021, at the coastal road, Ho Tram Hamlet, Phuoc Thuan Commune, Xuyen Moc District, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, the Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort & Spa officially started construction. The ceremony was attended by representatives of IFF Holdings and representatives of Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company.

At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai – Chairman of the Board of IFF Holdings said that she believes the partnership between the two sides will bring another super project in Ho Tram, as well as the world-class experience for customers and homeowners.

Ho Chi Minh City, March 21, 2025 – Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company (HOSE: CTD) officially announced its bid win and the commencement of Package HCMVNU-CW-01 – Construction of buildings YB1, YB2, YB3 and landscape infrastructure under the Vietnam National University Development Project – Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City Sub-project (VUDP-HCM). The package is valued at nearly VND 500 billion, with the International Project Management Unit (VNU-HCM) serving as the Project Owner.   This is the first project financed by a World Bank loan that Coteccons has implemented, with a commitment to allocate 1% of the package value to ensure compliance with ESG programs (abbreviation for Environmental, Social, Governance), a framework used to assess an organization’s impact on Environmental and Social issues. The 2.3-hectare Sky Forest Residence project belongs to the EcoPark Hung Yen urban area. This apartment complex is the final piece of Bay of Islands Street, located at the intersection of Bay of Islands Street, the educational street, and CDB Street. CDB belongs to the EcoPark Hung Yen urban area project complex. Sky Forest Residence includes 3 apartment buildings: 30-story SF1 building: 380 apartments; 38-story SF2 building: 488 apartments; and 41-story SF3 building: 600 apartments, with Coteccons taking on the role of general contractor for design and construction. This is a very special project. The requirement that the investor makes for the construction unit is to realize the design of a transfer slab system between buildings, with high technical requirements and unprecedented in the industry. To realize three transfer slabs with a height of 3.5m to hold the building blocks, Coteccons’ engineering team has diligently researched new construction techniques and, at the same time, applied practical “conquest experience” to large projects to finally find an implementation solution applied for the first time in Vietnam.
