CTD TALK “ACCIDENT-FREE WORK ENVIRONMENT” – COMMITMENT TO BUILDING A SAFE WORKPLACE FOR ALL EMPLOYEES

On September 13, 2024, at the Coteccons headquarters, the Coteccons Training Academy (CTA) organized a workshop titled “Accident-Free Work Environment” to raise awareness about occupational safety and discuss ways to build a safe working environment for all employees working at Coteccons Group.

As one of Coteccons’ core values, safety culture is always a priority, and it is also a leading standard in the construction industry. Coteccons not only focuses on providing high-quality services to partners and investors but also aims to create a safe and comfortable working environment throughout the working process for all employees.

This workshop attracted the participation of leaders and employees from member companies such as Unicons, UG M&E, Sinh Nam Metal, along with project directors, division directors, and site managers from various construction sites.

The workshop began with an introduction to the goals and main content. Participants then reviewed the safety factors and strategies Coteccons is implementing to become the “Safest Workplace.”

Speaker Mr. Đỗ Dương Trúc – Coteccons’ Safety Director, emphasized the importance of raising awareness about occupational safety. He also shared useful information about the advanced measures and technologies that Coteccons is pioneering to enhance the quality of the work environment at construction sites. At the same time, he stressed that preventing accidents is not only the responsibility of management but also of every individual in the company.

The subsequent discussion delved into how to build and maintain a safe working environment. Members of Coteccons Group had the opportunity to exchange practical experiences regarding technical and management solutions to minimize risks, as well as to commit to ensuring safety in the construction site work environment.

Through the workshop, Coteccons employees were provided with information about injury-causing factors, the importance of taking responsibility and ownership of safety, helping to reduce risks and create conditions for sustainable development. Additionally, the workshop helped participants understand how individual choices and values impact the work environment, aiming to realize the strategy of becoming the “Safest Workplace.”

Workshops on safety-related topics will continue to be regularly organized in both the office and construction sites of Coteccons, with the goal of providing safety information to all employees of the company.

The workshop concluded with Coteccons’ commitment and empowerment to create and implement an Accident-Free Work Environment.

Ho Chi Minh City, April 29, 2025 – Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company (HOSE: CTD) today announced its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025 (Q3FY25). The Company reported a record-breaking total backlog of nearly VND 37 trillion. In a parallel milestone, CTD stock has been officially added to the VNDiamond Index by the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) during the April 2025 rebalancing, marking a significant leap in Coteccons’ position in Vietnam’s financial market. For Q3FY25, Coteccons posted consolidated revenue of VND 5,003 billion, a 7.2% increase year-over-year, driven by accelerated key project delivery and expanded construction output. Cumulatively for the first nine months, revenue reached VND 16,647 billion, up 15.2% over the same period in FY2024. Gross profit remained under pressure due to a 9% increase in cost of goods sold, driven primarily by input cost fluctuations due to macroeconomic impacts and turbulent in the world. Gross profit for the quarter came in at VND 156 billion, while net profit after tax was VND 57 billion. For the nine-month period, gross profit rose 14% to VND 559 billion and net profit after tax rose 5.8% to VND 255 billion. The gross profit margin improved to 3.12%, up from 2.93% in the previous quarter, thanks to cost optimization and improved project execution efficiency.
