In a male-dominated field like the construction industry, what role do women play? At Coteccons Group, we create an equal environment for everyone to develop together without “labeling” gender.   At Coteccons Group, women can be not only the supporting team but also the core personnel who step out to make trillion-dollar deals or devise strategies on human resources, purchasing, etc. On International Women’s Day, let us meet typical female figures at Coteccons Group and hear them share their stories about working in a ‘man’s kingdom’.    Are there any stereotypes/prejudice about women in the construction industry that are difficult to eliminate?   Ms. Nguyen Tran Thuc Anh – Head of the Board of Investment: Stereotypes are nothing more than a comparison of “gender power”. In a field like construction, if there is something that needs to change, I think it would be “equality in mindset“. Stop talking about gender differences and talk about work efficiency. That is equality!   Ms. Tran Thi Lieu Vinh – Director of Administration & Sustainable Development: “Can’t do heavy work”, “not strong enough in communication”, “have to take care of family”… are the labels that society has been attaching to women when it comes to the construction industry. This perspective makes the female gender a minus in the industry. People also think that women in the construction industry are less ‘feminine’ due to the nature of the job, which involves working a lot with men, heavy work, dusty construction site environments, and always having to

On December 18, the press conference to kick off the program “Xay Tet 2024” (Build Tet 2024) was held at the Headquarters of Nhan Dan Newspaper (Hanoi) by Coteccons and Nhan Dan Newspaper.   Grateful to the vulnerable, “on whose shoulders we stand for economic development” Mr. Bolat Duisenov, Chairman of the BOD of Coteccons, started the speech with two photos capturing the working moments of workers at the construction site. The photo is beautiful thanks to the effects of sunlight, construction dust, and the majestic space, but behind it is the harsh reality that workers face every day: a heat level of up to 44 degrees Celsius radiating from the aluminum and glass surface, a height of several tens of meters where workers must hang on ropes, etc. What is even more stressful is ensuring the project progresses safely. “The picture is beautiful, but it is essentially a very hard job. They sacrifice a lot every day,” shared Mr. Bolat He called construction workers “the most vulnerable group in the construction industry value chain.” They are also the motivation for Coteccons, with the support and co-organization of Nhan Dan Newspaper, to carry out the program “Xay Tet 2024” to bring a warm and happy spring to workers. Accordingly, “Build Tet 2024″ starts from December 23, 2023, to January 2024 on construction sites across 3 regions of the country, such as Hanoi, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Quang Ngai, and Ho Chi Minh City. Minh, Binh Duong…, in which the

On December 8th, 2023, Coteccons & Unicons were honored to receive the awards of Top 500 Vietnam Best Employer (VBE500) and Top 10 Vietnam Best Workplace (VBW10) of the VBE500 and VBW10 rankings by Viet Research, in coordination with the Vietnam Investment Review publishing unit. This recognition was the result of Coteccons and Unicons in recent years having made efforts to restructure the human resources management system to follow the times. Despite many employment challenges, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Coteccons consider this an opportunity for the human resources industry and have transformed strongly.  We understand that human resource management is not only about creating achievements by creating jobs, rewarding employees, creating a sustainable working environment, and having good and stable business results, but also how to promote and raise awareness among the community, businesses, and workers about image, reputation, and the importance of using “human capital.” We focus on creating a unique OWN IT culture to promote individuals’ potential and give opportunities to move quickly, applying technology to evaluate and monitor the development process of employees to serve the development focus on human resources (Learning and Development), and restructuring C&B closer to multinational companies to attract more talented human resources for the diversification strategy. Promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) is a specific action of commitment to sustainable development in which the human element is the key to all actions, not only helping to build the employer’s branding but also creating high-quality human resources to increase

On November 28, 2023, Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company officially opened a completely new experiential office model in the North, which is a space with a unique open design that demonstrates the company’s OWNIT and DEI culture. The office is designed according to the “Agile Workplaces” trend to honor the freedom and individuality of each employee working in a completely flexible environment. Unlike traditional offices—where employees are fixed to desks—Coteccons’ flexible “Agile Workplace” office in Hanoi encourages employees to move freely around the office. “Agile Workplace” is about empowering employees to choose where they want to work in the office. The Agile Workspace office design In addition, the design also aims to provide employees with many useful and convenient spaces. The Central Collaborate Hub area can be used as a place to meet with external partners, customers, or even friends. The open space without tables and chairs can become a conference room, exhibit construction materials, or share new solutions. There is also a “focus” area for those who need privacy to concentrate and a social area for those who want to chat. The open design is to stimulate interaction among people, which is an effort to foster collaboration, unleash creativity by eliminating physical barriers between teams, and ultimately improve employee capabilities. Central Collaborate Hub area – a place of connections A “focus” area for meetings and for those who need privacy to concentrate  Coteccons also aims for sustainable values, so in the design it uses biophilic design elements, focusing

On July 18, 2022, Coteccons Group was honored to be ranked 7th out of 20 companies from the VN100 Index (comprising the 100 largest listed companies in the Vietnamese stock market) that were comprehensively evaluated across the three ESG criteria: environment, social, and governance, announced by the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.  This achievement is the result of Coteccons being dedicated to conducting our construction operations in a sustainable and responsible manner, prioritizing ESG considerations to minimize environmental impacts, ensure safety and well-being, and uphold ethical and transparent business practices.  You can find the report of InnoLab.Asia here: bit.ly/499Bzrx With a view to enhancing our position to the international standard and competitive capacity in the global market, we follow the path of ESG by our own choice. We are committed to reducing our environmental impacts through sustainable practices. We prioritize energy efficiency, low-carbon emissions, responsible waste management and resource conservation to promote a greener future for all. The commitment of Coteccons Group towards doing sustainable and environmentally friendly business is demonstrated through the completion of numerous projects that have acquired LEED Certificate (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). We have a total of 38 projects meeting the standard, namely: LEGO Binh Duong Factory (Platinum), President Place (Gold), Jotun Vietnam Greenfield (Gold), Porsche Center Saigon II (Gold), Diamond Lotus Riverside (Gold), Lancaster Luminaire (Gold), Diamond Crown Hai Phong (Gold), Tetra Pak Binh Duong (Gold), Regina Miracle International Vietnam Factory (Silver), Coca-Cola HCM Site Master Plant (Silver), Marigot Jewlery Vietnam

“In general, the market has not had many clear developments in the real estate sector, even in big cities such as Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Only a few new investment projects are licensed. Therefore, our reports also show caution, considering market trends to make revenue and profit forecasts.” This was the first comment of Mr. Bolat Duisenov – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company (CTD) at the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders that took place on the afternoon of October 17. For the year of 2023, Coteccons expects revenue to reach 6,744 billion VND, consolidated profit after tax to reach 52 billion VND. Meanwhile, in the 2024 fiscal year (from July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024), Vietnam’s No. 1 Construction Group sets revenue and profit after tax targets of VND 17,793 billion and VND 274 billion, respectively. billions dong. However, according to the “captain” of Coteccons, the business still has certain strengths, with much better results than other companies in the same industry. Mr. Bolat also emphasized Coteccons’ spirit of transparency and willingness to meet and answer any questions from shareholders. We failed but not defeated! Coteccons aims to participate in the fields of infrastructure and renewable energy. While there are many works and projects in this field, Coteccons is still only a spectator. The goal of reaching 3 billion USD in revenue and 1 billion USD in market capitalization by 2025 is just an empty slogan. So can

On October 4, 2023, Schneider Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Coteccons Construction JSC organized a signing ceremony for a laptop and scholarship agreement. The event is within the framework of Coteccons-Lê Phong Bình Dương Half Marathon, which had the companionship of Schneider Electric. Mr. Đồng Mai Lâm – CEO of Schneider Electric Vietnam and Cambodia Co., Ltd and Mr. Võ Hoàng Lâm – CEO of Coteccons Construction JSC Accordingly, Schneider Electric Vietnam will sponsor 50 Lenovo laptops, each worth 10 million dong, and 25 scholarships, each worth 1 million dong, to help children in disadvantaged circumstances in remote areas. Currently, Coteccons has awarded a number of computers and scholarships to children at Ho Bon primary and secondary boarding schools for ethnic minorities in Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province, and a cluster of 7 schools, including 3 preschools, 4 primary schools, and secondary schools, through the program “Pick the Moon to the Village,”, belonging to the ESG project chain of Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company. According to the plan, we will continue to donate the remaining gifts to appropriate areas. MOU Signing Ceremony between Schneider Electric and Coteccons At Coteccons, we are always concerned with the issues of sustainable development, ESG, minimizing environmental impacts, and developing future generations through annual activities such as the Green Up Marathon, Pick the Moon to the Village, etc. Schneider Electric is our partner in many aspects, and the companionship of Schneider Electric as well as other partners is a testament to the

The 2.3-hectare Sky Forest Residence project belongs to the EcoPark Hung Yen urban area. This apartment complex is the final piece of Bay of Islands Street, located at the intersection of Bay of Islands Street, the educational street, and CDB Street. CDB belongs to the EcoPark Hung Yen urban area project complex. Sky Forest Residence includes 3 apartment buildings: 30-story SF1 building: 380 apartments; 38-story SF2 building: 488 apartments; and 41-story SF3 building: 600 apartments, with Coteccons taking on the role of general contractor for design and construction. This is a very special project. The requirement that the investor makes for the construction unit is to realize the design of a transfer slab system between buildings, with high technical requirements and unprecedented in the industry. To realize three transfer slabs with a height of 3.5m to hold the building blocks, Coteccons’ engineering team has diligently researched new construction techniques and, at the same time, applied practical “conquest experience” to large projects to finally find an implementation solution applied for the first time in Vietnam. Accordingly, the solution found at the Sky Forest project is to use a special scaffolding system made of crane bodies at highly complex transfer slabs while ensuring the progress we committed to the investor. Mr. Ha Van Vuong, Project Manager, shared: “With support from the company’s Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Chi Thien, CEO, and Mr. Duong Xuan Tot, the project director and company departments, engineers of the Steering Committee sat together to come up

On September 15, 2023, the topping-out ceremony of the Landmark Hotel Tower, which is in the Diamond Crown Hai Phong Complex, is officially organized. This is the representative construction for the Hai Phong “brand” due to its uniqueness, which is full of architectural and iconic value. Unique design contributed to the unprecedented sophistication of Asia Located in the most business-oriented intersection of the port city, the Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Binh Khiem intersection (Ngo Quyen District), Diamond Crown Hai Phong has a total area of 12.868 m2. This is a complex project that consists of a 39-story luxury apartment tower and a 45-story 5-star hotel tower. The developer of the project is DOJILAND Company Limited, a member of the DOJI Group. Not only possessing a golden position, Diamond Crown Hai Phong also impresses with its height of 186m, the highest in the city, as if affirming the position of a modern Hai Phong reaching international level. In particular, the most unique feature of the project is the unique grid design, which has never appeared in any project in Vietnam or Asia. However, this is a big challenge for investors and contractors. With unique architecture and record height, the Diamond Crown Hai Phong project changes the appearance of the city center of Hai Phong Port “This is one of the most difficult projects I have ever worked on. This is the first project in Vietnam and Asia to use an external column frame structure system called Diagrid columns as

Coteccons is currently the leading construction company in the industry, with stable and sustainable revenue growth. Coteccons’ total assets are VND 20,042 billion, and its equity is VND 8,236 billion, and cash of almost 4,000 billion. As a result, Investors and Shareholders regard Coteccons as a construction company with a solid financial foundation. There have recently been a number of exceedingly adverse occurrences for the building industry, particularly in the fields of urban housing and tourism. Since 2017, very few urban housing projects have been granted construction licenses. The industry’s human resources have increased while the source of employment has decreased dramatically. Because underemployment creates an imbalance between supply and demand, the construction industry is more competitive than ever. And some contractors have used this opportunity to increase the unneeded confrontations that are deteriorating the construction environment. Regarding the economic contract dispute with Ricons Group Investment Construction Joint Stock COMPANY, Coteccons verified that there were transactions between the two Companies, including receivables and payables (referred to as liabilities). Explaining the debt arising from the period before 2019, Coteccons and Ricons were controlled and identified as contributing components to an ecosystem of seven member organizations that were interrelated prior, including: Coteccons, Unicons, Ricons, Newtecons, BM Windows, Sol E&C, and Boho. During the operation of an ecosystem, a number of Ricons projects as general contractors arise related party transactions with Coteccons as a subcontractor at the project, such as the Regina Hung Yen project, the Design East Asia project, and some

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam, 6 June 2023: Coteccons, one of the top construction companies in Vietnam, today announced to sign a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microsoft Vietnam to accelerate its innovation and value chain in the construction industry leveraging the power of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technology. On May 20, 2023, Coteccons organized a training program on business conduct policy, a specialized training course on Vietnam’s anti-corruption regulations and compliance with the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and an information security policy. The program is open to all employees of Coteccons and Unicons who are working in the back office and on construction sites across the country. Employees of Coteccons and Unicons got a thorough understanding of Vietnam’s anti-corruption policies as well as compliance with the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) during the training session. It not only gives theory but also interactive and includes case studies, assisting employees in understanding how to recognize and prevent potential incidents of corruption. “Today, businesses in the United States have a need to move and expand their market through Asian countries in general, and especially Vietnam in particular. And they are excited about working together, collaborating with trustworthy partners, and following the same core principles. And

Recently, Coteccons collaborated with VILAF in a training on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance and Vietnamese anti-corruption laws. The training was led by Tra Nguyen and Esko Cate, both lawyers at VILAF with extensive experience in anti-corruption and compliance matters, accompanied by the sharing of Mr. Christopher Senekki, Deputy General Director of Coteccons. Participating in the course were representatives of investors, consultants, all members of Lego Factory’s Board of Directors, and key partners such as Shinryo VN and UG M&E. In the first part, Mr. Christopher Senekki, Deputy General Director of Coteccons, shared about “Coteccons’ policy of business conduct.” Specifically, Coteccons is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all its business dealings and continuously improving the quality of project implementation and operation to build a reputation based on honesty, fairness, respect, responsibility, integrity, trust, and sensible business judgment. The training session covered a wide variety of topics, including the FCPA, Vietnam’s anti-corruption regulations, and internal controls. Being interactive with case studies, the training session not only provided plain theory but also helped employees understand how to identify and prevent potential cases of corruption. “Coteccons’ commitment to compliance and ethical business practices is commendable, and we are honored to have

On April 25, Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company (HOSE: CTD) held the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and announced the results of 2022 and the business plan for 2023. Good Fortune to be a Great Company Mr. Bolat Duisenov, Chairman of the Board, was touched when the General Meeting of Shareholders was held at Coteccons headquarters. Two years ago, when taking the leadership position, Mr. Bolat identified that the main mission was to stabilize the company’s situation for a better future. “At that time, I felt everyone’s anxiety when skepticism was not only from our customers but also from internal staff. Today, I am proud to affirm that we are not afraid of what will come. We are looking forward to new things. We are doing better and better. In the past 2 years, what I am proudest of is the change in mindset within the company and the team. We now believe the future is in our hands, like the company’s “own it” culture,” said Mr. Bolat. Mr. Bolat Duisenov also affirmed that the ESG activities that the company has carried out in recent years have brought Coteccons to a new position when working with partners. That is the way Coteccons can gain trust and respect from customers and also get on the path of sustainability. 4 Pillars of the Journey to Become a Great Company “2022 is a difficult year for the economy and the construction industry. However, the company has reached its revenue target of

Coteccons works tirelessly to achieve its goal of becoming a world-class business. In addition to financial objectives such as reaching a market capitalization of USD 1 billion, the Company pursues non-financial objectives such as creating a humane working environment, raising construction standards, making positive contributions to the construction industry, and effectively implementing the sustainable development strategy… Coteccons has the basis and potential to accomplish that objective, in terms of strategic vision, people, technology, and financing. This is the key message from Coteccons’ Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM). The event took place in Ho Chi Minh City on April 25, 2023, both in person and online. Coteccons’ Board of Directors comprehensively delivered 2022 outcomes, 2023 targets, and certain long-term orientations with a lot of attractive information. Regarding the 2022 outcomes, Coteccons has successfully accomplished all targets and tasks. Specifically, sales reached VND 14,537 billion, an increase of more than 60% compared to the previous year. Profit before tax and profit after tax reached nearly VND 35 billion and VND 21 billion respectively (105% of the target). With a view to creating a transparent environment for our investors, on January 16, 2023 Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company (ticker symbol: CTD) held a shareholder meeting. In his opening remarks, Chairman Bolat conveyed a message about TRANSPARENCY to all participating shareholders “When I was first elected the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Coteccons, my commitment was to put in place best corporate governance practices, especially those that promote transparency. At that time, my belief shared by many of my colleagues here was that there had to be transparency between major investors, BOD members, or those directly employed by the company but also to each individual investor and shareholder owning CTD shares”, said Mr. Bolat Duisenov – Chairman of Coteccons Board of Directors, at the start of the dialogue. “Let’s further uphold this culture of transparency as at Coteccons there’s actually nothing to hide, even when we face challenges or reap unsatisfactory results. Overcoming challenges in 2022 The year 2022 has passed, can you share your business performance (revenue, profit, achievements) in 2022 and your expectations and plans for the year ahead? Construction workers are a priority in the sustainability strategy. According to data from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, the country has about 7 million construction workers, accounting for 13.5% of the workforce aged 15 and over. Especially, in the construction industry, construction workers are the important people contributing to the creation of iconic projects and works. With the direction of sustainable development, besides taking care of people in difficult circumstances and responding to climate change and community issues, Coteccons realizes that its own employees, construction workers, are also a sector that has received little attention in society. Therefore, Coteccons has decided to launch the “Xay Tet—Construct Tet” program in order to bring a warmer and better Tet to 12,000 construction workers who are working for subcontractors and suppliers at Coteccons’s construction sites. The program will visit nearly 60 construction sites across the country starting on January 4, 2023. Coteccons understands that each construction worker has made great efforts to build solid, safe works and always ensure the progress. That is the reason that accelerates Coteccons to give them and their family gifts, to join hands to build a fuller Tet for all! Besides gift sets for 12,000 workers, the program also organizes meaningful activities such as cutting hair at the construction site, taking souvenir photos, giving free rides back to their hometowns, etc. All these activities are intended to bring short relaxation time to workers during the busy days of running progress on the construction

Ho Chi Minh City, December 12, 2022 – Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company and Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper sign a cooperation agreement to launch the project “Build Tet 2023” with the companionship of the Ministry of Labor – Invalids and Social. The program will be implemented synchronously on 60 operating sites of Coteccons across the country from January 4 to January 16, 2023, bringing 12,000 Tet gifts to construction workers. Build 12,000 Tet for construction workers with Coteccons Vietnam’s construction sector is characterized by its reliance on a workforce, commonly known as “construction workers.” Hardworking construction workers, on the other hand, are intrinsically less concerned with working conditions. As a construction industry leader and a partner to over 20,000 workers, Coteccons understands the challenges they face. After two years of COVID, construction workers are eagerly looking forward to this time; however, the construction business is witnessing various swings that influence construction workers’ psychology. As a result, Coteccons proposed launching a special project for the first time in the construction business, with the theme “Build Tet” and a message of heartfelt gratitude to the hardworking individuals who have been working on iconic projects with safety and on-time delivery. Mr. Pham Quan Luc, Deputy CEO of Coteccons, shared: “Because the workforce is the center of Coteccons’ development and the main concern in allocating the company’s resources at the end of the year, we have balanced the company’s activities to focus on implementing “Build Tet.” With the companionship of 2000 engineers and

With a history of 18 years of establishment and development to become a leading construction company in Vietnam, the work force always plays a pivotal role and is a top concern in the partnership strategy and building environment. Coteccons’ site of work Vietnam’s construction sector is characterized by its reliance on workforces, commonly known as “construction workers.” This force is in charge of the majority of the construction work on projects, which is a skilled and physically demanding job. Hardworking construction workers, on the other hand, are intrinsically less concerned with working conditions. Understanding this, Coteccons is constantly working to enhance the working environment in order to provide a secure income, improve skills, and treat construction workers fairly, respectfully, and compassionately. Mr. Pham Quan Luc, Deputy CEO of Coteccons, shared: “For the workforce, their first concern is the payment policy, together with other benefits in the working process and environment. At Coteccons, we always prioritize them, even in difficult times, because we know they are the first to suffer when the market is volatile. During this Lunar New Year, the entire industry is experiencing cash flow difficulties due to the influence of the real estate market, but Coteccons will continue to prioritize payment so that workers and employees can work with peace of mind to have a warm and prosperous Tet after the pandemic’s two-year impact.” Vietnam’s manufacturing industry is rapidly rising alongside the admission of large FDI giants. This is an opportunity for the construction industry, but it

The working environment takes up most of the living space of staff, especially when it comes to civil engineers, who work specifically at construction sites every day. Green Day activities are organized every Friday to keep the construction site ‘green’, thus creating a clean working environment. Everyone from the Site Management Board to the Subcontractors is engaged in common work like cleaning and garbage collection. This Green Day activity partly helps each other relieve work pressure, creates a cohesive atmosphere, and above all raises awareness of protecting the living environment – a “green, clean, beautiful and safe” construction site. Following the “Green Friday”, Ixora Ho Tram tries to maintain the habit of cleaning ‘house’ every Thursday from 07:00 to 07:40. Mr. Ngoc Hao – Site Manager and members of the Site Management Board all rolled up their sleeves to collect garbage, and plastic bottles to help protect the environment while providing a clean and tidy working space for the Ixora Ho Tram project. With Green Day activities, Le Meridien Resort & Spa and Ixora Ho Tram hope to spread the message “Green – Clean – Safe” – “Green Office” to other construction sites of Coteccons.

Each completed charity house in Huong Phung commune gives one more child the opportunity to go to school. A house is not only a place to live, but it also opens the door for children in Huong Phung commune to have the opportunity to go to school, learn letters, and gain knowledge. Their future will be brighter, no longer hanging around in poor neighborhoods. We landed at Phu Bai airport and then continued to move by car to Huong Phung commune, Quang Tri province. The journey lasted nearly 5 hours. The distance was not too long, but the closer we reached the destination, the more dangerous the roads were due to landslides. Huong Phung commune, located near the Lao Bao international border gate, is one of the poorest mountainous communes in Quang Tri province. This place endures all the harshest weather in the Western Quang Tri region. When it is sunny, the wind blows fiercely; when it rains, it is pouring rain. Because of that, the people here always live in poor and difficult conditions. Every time it rains, and floods come, houses, fields, and gardens are flushed in the flood. Last year, the houses of the Van Kieu ethnic group living there were all washed away. All that remained were tears and worries about a home when Tet was coming close. A house is more than just a home… The flood in the Central region derives everything, not only property but also trust. If it is simply a
